Maria Maddalena Quattrocchi
Maria Maddalena Quattrocchi was born in Ravenna on 12 March 1963. She earned her Master Mosaicist diploma in 1980 at the G. Severini State Art Institute for Mosaic in Ravenna. That same year she began collaborating with Maestro Liborio Puglisi’s «Artemosaico» studio.
Her experience at the Artemosaico studio was wide-ranging: from reproductions of Byzantine and Roman mosaics to contemporary mosaic and interior design.
Her pursuit of precision and fine detail led her to specialise in mosaic miniatures, created as unique pieces.
In 2011 she left Artemosaico and founded her own studio: Il Mosaico di Maddy.
